Morray, born Morae Ebony Ruffin on November 10, 1993, brings his own impressive background to the table. Raised on R&B and gospel music in Fayetteville, North Carolina, he honed his melodic vocal style singing lead in his local church choir from a young age. His breakout single, "Quicksand," released in 2020, garnered over 260 million YouTube views, leading to a deal with Interscope Records and the release of his debut mixtape, 'Street Sermons,' in 2021. Morray's ability to seamlessly blend rap and R&B makes him a natural fit for a beat-first collaboration like "La La Land."

TroyBoi, whose real name is Troy Henry, has consistently found ways to keep his distinctive bass sound fresh through varied partnerships. His collaborative track record includes a 2018 remix of Billie Eilish's "my boy," which has accumulated nearly 110 million Spotify streams. In 2019, Rihanna notably featured two of his productions in her Savage X Fenty show during New York Fashion Week, exposing his sound to a much wider audience beyond the traditional dance music scene.
