Latto Shares First Look At Her Baby Girl After 'Big Mama' Album Drop

4d ago

Latto has officially stepped into her "Big Mama" era, not just with her new album, but with the adorable reveal of her baby girl. The Atlanta rapper captivated fans by sharing the first precious photos of her daughter on Instagram, moments after her fourth studio album, "Big Mama," hit the streets on Friday, May 29, 2026.

In a carousel post that quickly went viral, Latto gave her followers a peek at her "lil' mama." One heartwarming photo shows the artist cuddling her infant in a backyard setting, a pink carriage resting nearby. Other snaps capture Latto pushing her mini-me in the carriage, while additional images highlight her all-white sheer dress, styled with gold jewelry and pointed-toe Louboutin heels, worn for the special occasion.

The reveal came after a period of anticipation, with Latto's journey into motherhood intertwined with her album's rollout. The album itself, released through Streamcut and RCA Records, had already hinted at the baby's gender. On the 17th track, titled "Mama," Latto rapped, "Now you look just like your daddy, but you got my curls. Can't believe my life right now, I feel on top of the world. Should've seen my face when they told me it's a baby girl," confirming she had welcomed a daughter.

This grand reveal follows Latto's public announcement of her pregnancy on March 20, 2026. That day, she dropped the "Business & Personal (Intro)" music video and unveiled the cover art for "Big Mama," which prominently featured a visibly pregnant Latto cradling a baby cheetah. The music video further fueled widespread speculation about the baby's father, as it included a shot of a tattooed hand, reportedly resembling that of rapper 21 Savage, gently caressing her baby bump. The video also showed baby photos of 21 Savage in a scrapbook Latto was compiling.

Latto had previously confirmed her relationship with Shéyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, known as 21 Savage, in September 2025, even referring to him as her "husband" in an interview. During her pregnancy, she openly expressed her desire for a baby girl, stating, "We both want a girl," and that she could "see myself with a girl." A Paper magazine cover shoot during her pregnancy revealed she was eight months along, indicating a potential due date as early as April 2026. Following the baby's arrival, 21 Savage shared a newborn photo on Instagram, showing the baby, with its face cropped out, wearing a white Arsenal onesie, captioned, "We Did It!!!!!!!!!"

Prior to the birth confirmation, Latto generated significant buzz with a tweet on May 8, 2026, announcing "Big Mama" as her "retirement album." Her post read, "5/29 My retirement album. Thank you for everything." This
